A. Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must

1. be non-Chinese citizens in good health.

2. be an undergraduate graduate under the age of 40.

Note:Applicants who are former Chinese citizens and have acquired foreign citizenship should be subject to relevant national regulations.

C. Application Documents

Applicants shall finish online application (http://yzu.17gz.org/member/login.do).

After successful registration, applicants shall fill in YZU Application Form for International Students online in Chinese or English and submit documents as follows.

1. Undergraduate Diploma

2. Academic Transcripts

3. One Recommendation Letter(Original Documents of above mentioned Item 1-3 in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.)

4. The bio page of valid passport

5. Guarantee Statement (A copy of guarantor’s valid identity documents should be attached.)

6. Accommodation Application Form

7. Health Insurance Application Form

8. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (This form is uniformly printed by the Health and Quarantine Department of China and shall be filled in English. All applicants shall do physical examination for each item according to the relevant requirements. The form will be invalid with incomplete items, no photo, no official stamp or signature of physicians.)

9. Proof of Language Proficiency. For Chinese-taught programs, Chinese language proficiency test (HSK) report (Level 4 or above) must be provided. For English-taught programs, those whose mother tongue or official language is not English must provide TOEFL, IELTS or the latest 3-year transcripts of English courses.

10. A Study Plan or Research Proposal (written in Chinese or English, more than 800 words)

Admission starts from March 1^st to June 30^th every year. YZU will select and recruit outstanding applicants before August 15^th and deliver Admission Notice to qualified applicants.
