Title:R&D and Application of Key Technologies for Dynamic Scheduling and Optimization of Autonomous Mobile Robot Swarm Systems

AbstractRobots are hailed as "the pearl at the top of the manufacturing crown". In recent years, relevant national ministries and commissions have successively issued sci-tech power strategies such as the 14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Robot Industry and the "Robot +" Application Action Implementation Plan, which have strongly promoted the growth of the market scale of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). Currently, in many industries including pharmaceutical distribution, e-commerce retail, footwear and apparel, and intelligent manufacturing, there is an urgent need for large-scale swarm operations of AMRs. However, the rapid increase in the number of robot swarms has brought about new challenges. To address this, we have adopted technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud-edge-end architecture, and conducted in-depth research on the scheduling and optimization applications of autonomous mobile robot swarm systems. Specifically, we have proposed key technologies including multi-agent collaborative perception, positioning and navigation in complex scenarios, large-scale real-time scheduling of autonomous mobile robot swarms, and collaborative optimization based on data-driven and deep learning approaches. We have also independently designed and developed an autonomous mobile robot swarm scheduling platform, and successfully promoted the application of the aforementioned technologies and platform in typical application scenarios such as pharmaceutical distribution, e-commerce retail, footwear and apparel, and intelligent manufacturing. This has provided innovative solutions to key pain points in these industries and achieved favorable social and economic benefits.
