Title:Evolution of dispersal in advective environments
Abstract:It has been widely accepted that slower diffuser wins in spatially heterogeneous and temporally constant environments provided that populations take random diffusion only. In the past few years, a different phenomenon that faster diffuser wins was observed in some particular river ecosystems. In this talk, we will report some recent development in this direction. The models we consider include both space-continuous and space-discrete cases.
