Title：Sum-product problem

Abstract：Erdos-Szemeredi (1983) introduce the sum-product problem. Nowadays, there are many applications of sum-product estimates in number theory, fractal geometry, harmonic analysis, itc. In this talk, I will introduce the problem, and show the sum-prodcut estimates of Elekes (1997) by applying point-line incidence estimate. In the end, I may show how to prove the incidence bound via polynomial method.
