Abstract:Let
be the Piatetski-Shapiro sequence.In this Talk,it is proved that there exist infinitely many Piatetski--Shapiro
primes in arithmetic progressions for 1<c<
. Moreover, we also provethat there exist infinitely many Carmichael numbers composed entirelyof primes from Piatetski-Shapiro sequences for 1<c<
. These two theorems constitute improvements upon the previous results of Baker, Banks, Brüdern, Shparlinski and Weingartner.
