TitleQuantum cloning

 

AbstractQuantum information, the natural extension and revolutionary development of classical information , is mainly explore the use of the limit of the quantum system for information processing ability and the ability to reach or approach the method of quantum physics, information theory, computer combined with engineering technology and the emerging interdisciplinary field, as the representation of information, transmission, storage and computing provides a new theory and method.  The fundamental difference between quantum information and classical information lies in the superposition principle, which leads to the fact that quantum information cannot be cloned in general, in sharp contrast with classical information which can be copied at will.  Quantum unclonability is a basic feature of quantum information, which is deeply related to Heisenberg's uncertainty principle and quantum measurement theory.  In this general presentation we will review the background, mathematical characterization, and physical applications of the quantum unclonable principle.
