From 3–9 September, four FAU doctoral candidates—Schindler, Škondrć, Schröder and Demmel—concluded CEP 2025 (an MoHRSS–funded platform for early-career researchers worldwide to share ideas) at Yangzhou University with four Navier-Stokes and Euler talks that sparked Q&A and joint-project ideas. Guided by volunteers, they explored the Grand Canal Museum and campus history hall, discovering 2,500 years of heritage and the motto “Perseverance and Self-Reliance.” Praising meticulous logistics, both sides pledged co-supervision, researcher exchanges and co-authored papers, turning the week into a springboard for sustained China-Germany collaboration among young scholars.
