报告题目：Rigidity and weak rigidity

报告简介：An important technical assumption in the theory of tensor categories is the notion of rigidity. Unfortunately, this assumption is sometimes difficult to verify. Much easier assumption is that of weak rigidity. In this talk I will discuss some new results (due to Etingof, Penneys, Alqady, Stroinski) describing the relation between these two notions.

报告人： Victor Ostrik, 俄勒冈大学(University of Oregon)教授。2000年-2004年，V. Ostrik在麻省理工学院(MIT)从事博士后研究，并在2003年-2007年多次受邀访问普林斯顿高等数学研究所(IAS)。 Ostrik 教授主要从事张量范畴、李理论、代数几何等方面的研究，并取得了许多原创性结论, 在Ann. of Math, Invent. Math, Duke Math. J 等国际顶级期刊发表论文60多篇，并在2014年受邀在国际数学家大会作45分钟报告。由于在李理论等相关问题的重要工作，Ostrik 教授在2024年获得美国数学会颁发的Chevalley 奖。
