报告题目： The Hopf algebra of quasisymmetric functions and its renormalization

报告简介：In 1995，Rota proposed to study symmetric functions in the framework of Rota-Baxter algebras. In this talk, I will introduce the Hopf algebra of weak quasisymmetric functions to address Rota's claim. Then I will report recent progress on applying the method of renormalization in the spirit of Connes and Kreimer to realize weak quasisymmetric functions as power series

报告人：喻厚义，西南大学数学与统计学院教授，博士毕业于上海交通大学, 2014年至2015年在美国纽约大学交流访问。主要研究方向是罗巴代数与代数组合，在Adv. Math.，J. Combin. Theory Ser. A等期刊发表论文多篇，先后主持国家自然科学基金4项.
