报告题目：Basic Convex Analysis on Spheres

报告简介：In this talk, aiming at providing an interesting and valuable topic to graduates or younger researchers, we will introduce the basic theory of spherical convexity, including the concepts of spherically convex sets and spherically convex function, and the recent progresses in such a theory. In particular, the combinatorial and the structural properties of spherically convex sets, such as the Radon type, Helly type and Caratheodory type theorems and the Minkowski structural theorems, will be presented, and some properties and criterions of spherically convex functions will also be mentioned.

报告人简介：国起，博士，现任苏州科技大学二级教授，省数学重点学科学科带头人。先后于吉林大学获学士学位，哈工大获硕士、博士学位，瑞典Uppsala大学获博士学位。长期从事泛函分析空间理论、凸与凸几何分析等领域的基础理论研究工作。发表研究论文80余篇，主持完成国家自然科学基金面上项目2项，主参国家自然科学基金面上项目2项，主持完成省聘外专项重点项目2项，现主持在研国家自然科学基金面上项目1项。
