报告题目：Orthogonalities, linear operators, and characterizations of inner product spaces

报告简介：Orthogonalities are binary relations on normed linear spaces that coincide with the orthogonality in inner product spaces. Various types of orthogonality, e.g., Roberts orthogonality, Birkhoff orthogonality, isosceles orthogonality, and Pythagorean orthogonality, have been introduced since 1934. In this talk we present several recent characterizations of inner product spaces, which are partially related to the unsolved Banach-Mazur Rotation Problem, in terms of orthogonalities and linear operators.
