近期，我院周久儒老师与美国俄勒冈大学吕鹏教授合作发表了题为“Ancient solutions for Andrews’ hypersurface flow”学术论文。吕鹏和周久儒在上述论文中结合Perelman在2002年构造Ricci流古代解的思想和Haslhofer-Hershkovits在2016年构造平均曲率流古代解的部分方法，构造了Andrews超曲面流的古代解。该古代解在时间t趋于0¯时，塌缩为一个圆点；在时间t趋于-∞时，变得越来越椭圆。 并且，在该解的中心点附近，对度量适当加权后，其带点的Cheeger-Gromov极限为柱面解

该研究成果发表在世界著名数学期刊Journal fur die reine und angewandte Mathematik (Crelle)上,该杂志为复旦二区。
