摘要：This talk presents state-of-the-art and progress of the concept of fault, diagnostics and prognostics from theory to potential applications. Specifically, model-based fault diagnostics and isolation as well as fault tolerant control are discussed and its applications to electrical machines are discussed. Finally, some concluding remarks are provided.
