Title:Entropy, Maximum Entropy, and the Maximum Entropy Method
Abstract:The maximum entropy method has been used for the recovery of density functions in physical science and engineering. We introduce the concept of entropy and describe Jaynes’ maximum entropy principle. Then we present an algorithm that incorporates the principle with finite elements to develop a maximum entropy method for the computational study of chaos.

Title:Some Results on (b,c)-inverse in Rings
Abstract:In this talk, we will present the latest development of (b,c)-inverses in rings. We will give some characterizations of Bott-Duffin (e,f)-inverse and (b,c)-inverse in terms of the direct sum decomposition, the annihilator and the invertible elements. Moreover, we will introduce the strongly one-side (b,c)-inverse and talk about the expression of the strongly one-side (b,c)-inverse.
