报告题目：The method of approximate fundamental solutions for well and ill posed PDEs

报告简介：

We use the method of approximate fundamental solutions for well and ill posed PDEs including elliptic equations and Cauchy problems of elliptic operators. The method is applicable to a general elliptic differential operator for which closed form fundamental solutions are unknown. Proper regularization technique is incorporated to obtain a stable solution for an inverse problem. Numerical results are given to show the effectiveness of the method. Comparisons between the method of approximate fundamental solutions and the method of fundamental solutions are also provided.
