Biography:
After receiving my degree in Theoretical Physics in my home country, Italy, I moved to Sweden for my PhD thanks to an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. I visited China for the first time in 2015 when I attended the Galileo - Xu Guangqi meeting in Beijing. Then I spent two years in Canada within the AARMS program deepening my background in the mathematical formulation of the Einstein equations; in that period I also taught three courses in Mathematics for Dalhousie. I returned back to Physics when I joined the center for gravitation and cosmology in Yangzhou in September 2018. I was awarded the Tito Maiani prize by the Italian "Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei" in 2013. Since 2018 I am also serving the scientific community as a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews of the American Mathematical Society.
